Jon Jones, Chandler Jones Fight: Patriots Star Says 'Bones' Ducking Him [VIDEO]

Last week, New England Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones made headlines when he announced that he was interested in fighting against his big brother. For most people, that is hardly newsworthy. However, Chandler's big brother just so happens to be Jon "Bones" Jones, the UFC light heavyweight champion and arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

On the field, Chandler is an up-and-coming young player that has the makings of a future star pass rusher, and he is an integral part of New England's defense. But that hardly qualifies him to step into the octagon with a highly trained fighter.

Still, Chandler is high on the prospect of fighting his brother (the proceeds of a bout between the two would go to charity), and now he tells TMZ that Bones is trying to duck the fight. Chandler apparently thinks that trolling his brother will goad him into taking the fight.

While it seems unlikely that Jon is actually running scared from a fight with his little brother, Chandler insists that Jon is doing exactly that, even calling him a coward.

Chandler even called up Jon in the middle of the street while he was recently in New York City with teammate Rob Gronkowski so that people could see exactly what he means.

Chandler says that the only thing that would stop him from making the fight happen would be if the Patriots prevent him from fighting his brother. While he undoubtedly lacks the fight training that Jon has, Chandler may still be able to hold his own by virtue of his 60-pound size advantage.
