LeBron James, Chael Sonnen Beef: UFC Fighter Explains Insult On Jim Rome Show [VIDEO]

Chael Sonnen, one of the UFC's most controversial and polarizing fighters, recently called LeBron James a "dork" on Jim Rome's Showtime program, when he shared a panel with former Baltimore Ravens player Brendon Ayanbadejo and NBA analyst Tom Tolbert.

While the shot seemingly came out of nowhere, Sonnen spoke with Bleacher Report about his animosity toward the Miami Heat star.

"Let me tell you a story about LeBron. He asked the UFC for tickets for my fight against Anderson Silva. We sit the guy front row, and all through the night he snubs our fans. He's a guest in our house and he refuses to sign any autographs or take any pictures unless your cup size was later in the alphabet than he was able to learn.

Sonnen went on to accuse James of making sexually charged comments to his wife, and wheeling a wheelchair-bound child who was requesting his autograph out of his way.

When asked about who would win a fight between he and James, Sonnen the professional combatant, predictably said he would be able to handle the six feet, eight inch LeBron.

"He'd run away faster than his hairline. His hair went North, his talents went South, and his mother went West," Sonnen said. He pushed the boundaries even further, saying he guaranteed a fight would occur the next time the two crossed paths. "No challenge. It's happening. Next time I see him he will shake that little boy's hand, even if I have to break his arm off and take it to the boy."

Sonnen certainly has earned the right to boast about his fighting prowess. He has a record of 28-13-1 in the UFC, and had beaten the consensus top fighter in UFC, Anderson Silva, for four full rounds before falling victim to a submission hold late in the fifth and final round.
