Former TNA wrestler Samoa Joe may become the next WWE Superstar.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Joe and the WWE are close to reaching an agreement and while a deal isn't set in stone just yet, he is expected to sign with the company soon.
Triple H has been said to be a huge supporter of Joe and he is likely behind the deal as "The Game" is a big fan of the former Ring of Honor and TNA wrestler.

There was talk that if the WWE signed Joe, he'd likely start out in NXT and work his way up to the main roster, despite his rich history in professional wrestling.
Joe is set to be Chris Jericho's guest on his Talk is Jericho podcast this Friday and they will discuss his departure from TNA as well as the next chapter in his wrestling career.
Joe told ChadDukesWrestling.com last week that he's open for any new chapter, including a run in the WWE.
"I've never shied away from an opportunity to prove myself," Joe told the site. "Every promotion I've ever worked for, initially when I started out, never wanted me. I remember my first Ring of Honor show and [Gabe Sapolsky. Former ROH booker] told me, 'Hey listen, we can't afford a flight out from California every month, so it will probably be a one-off deal.' And then walking back through the curtain after that first match and him going, 'you're on every show.' I think when you do get to the point where you're not willing to go out there and prove what you can do, I understand guys they feel strongly a certain way, that's fine, I think it's individual for everybody, but I know for me I've never shied away from an opportunity to prove myself anywhere."
He announced on Twitter last month that he decided to part ways with TNA and it is said the two sides remain on good terms.He's spent the last decade with TNA after signing on with them in 2005 and has plenty of accolades in his career.
Joe, 35, is a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, five-time TNA X-Division Champion, one-time TNA Television Champion and two-time Tag Team Champion.
