There were rumors several years ago that Melina cheated on long-time boyfriend and former WWE Superstar John Morrison with WWE wrestler-turned-actor Batista and the former Diva recently denied that story.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Melina appeared on former WWE announcer Jim Ross' Ross Report podcast and discussed the rumors, which stem from nearly a decade ago.
Melina noted that she dated Morrison, now known as Johnny Mundo in Lucha Underground, on-and-off for 11 years. Melina said the rumors that she cheated on Morrison, whom she managed alongside Joey Mercury as part of the MNM stable, with Batista were completely false.

The former WWE Diva told Ross on the show that the rumors led to the permanent split between the two, but that none of them were true.
Melina said that people backstage used to pick on her and make fun of her and that "The Animal" would stick up for her, which led to speculation that the two were more than just friends backstage.
Melina told Ross that Batista was a great friend to her and was also bullied when working his way up to the WWE and she also added that he is a real-life hero.
Even though she's retired from the ring and hasn't wrestled since 2012, Melina said she still hears the rumors nearly 10 years later and that she is still often bothered by them.
Melina, 36, left the WWE in 2011 and is a two-time Divas Champion and three-time Women's Champion.
