MLB The Show 2015 News: Gamers Can Play As MLB Legends In Addition To Current Players [VIDEO]

We’re less than two weeks away from the hotly anticipated release of MLB The Show 15, and sports gamers everywhere are going gaga over the game’s great features.

Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig will grace the cover of this year’s edition. Puig put up a .296 season with 16 home runs  and 69 RBI last year, his second season.

Recently the makers of the video game released a clip of Puig playing The Show 15, and quite frankly, it looks off the hook.

There’s more to love about this game than just emulating your favorite baseball players however.

According to The Sporting News, there are five features that has everybody salivating. There’s the use of licensed equipment (think Nike, Under Armour, Wilson, and Louisville Slugger) during game play, more realistic pitch recognition, improved load times, and a diamond dynasty/legends function that lets users play as some of the greatest Hall of Fame MLB players of all time.

News of these features come from the panel over at Press Row Podcast, which sampled the game and took a vote on its most exciting innovations.

MLB 2015: The Show is due to hit the shelves at gaming stores everywhere on March 31.
