Are Johnny Manziel and long-time girlfriend Colleen Crowley on the rocks?
The Cleveland Browns quarterback has been dating the TCU undergraduate and part-time fashion model for what seems like ages, and the two have always been thick as thieves.
Despite the long distance nature of their relationship the couple would travel back-and-forth between Fort Worth and Cleveland to spend time with each other, chronicling their love in a very PDA-esque way on Instagram.
Manziel has been out of the spotlight in recent weeks after checking himself into rehab in February in order to curb his hard-drinking, hard-partying inclinations.
However, despite his lack of a public profile recently, Manziel might be in hot water privately.
On Monday morning Crowley posted a cryptic Instagram photo that quickly went viral. It was a still photograph of a single word against a white background. That word? “Loyalty.”
Did Manziel do something disloyal? Or is Crowley referring to a different culprit. By 11 am EST the post had wracked up over 1,400 likes.
“[Is] there trouble in paradise???” one commenter asked. “Johnny messed with Bae,” speculated another.
Is this a harbinger of a relationship on the rocks, and if so, why? Only time will tell.
