WWE Monday Night RAW Preview and Rumors

With Roman Reigns and defending champion Brock Lesnar both down on the mat, "The Architect" came out and cashed in the briefcase to make it a Triple Threat Match for the gold.

After Reigns speared Lesnar, Rollins hit him with a Curb Stomp to pin him and pick up his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE announcer Tom Philips caught up with Rollins after his big moment while the WWE crew worked on changing out the plates on the title.

"The beautiful thing about plans is that you've gotta be able to adjust on the fly," Rollins said. "You know, anytime the champion is around -- Brock Lesnar makes very few appearances here -- so you've gotta capitalize, strike when the irons hot."

Rollins said he knew if he waited and picked the right moments to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, he had an opportunity to walk out with gold.

"I knew these two behemoths were gonna go out there and do what they did and beat the hell out of each other," Rollins said. "I knew there would be an opportunity for me if I picked the right spot, who knows what could happen."

Rollins lost to Randy Orton earlier in the night, but he is now on top of the WWE mountain as the man.

The Rollins Era begins Monday night on RAW as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion is expected to be at the SAP Center in San Jose to celebrate his huge win and shocking WrestleMania Moment.
