Sheamus made his return to the ring on Tuesday's SmackDown tapings that are set to air Thursday and it appears he worked rough with Daniel Bryan during their bout.

"The Celtic Warrior" returned on Monday Night RAW this week as a heel with a new look and the WWE booked him to battle Bryan in the main event of SmackDown.
Sheamus apparently roughed up the reigning Intercontinental Champion in a non-title match in the main event of SmackDown, causing him to bleed during the bout.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Sheamus was accused of working reckless with Bryan during their contest and not protecting "The Beard" enough throughout their clash.
Bryan ended up busted open during the match and received around seven stitches to close a wound in his forehead, though the cut may have actually come from Bad News Barrett, who had a run-in during the match after serving as a guest on commentary.
There will apparently be some blood shown on tonight's broadcast, though it is said to be accidental and with the WWE's movement to not show blood on television often anymore, there could be some editing in the works.
Bryan is someone the WWE needs to protect since he is a very popular Superstar and he missed time from last May until this past January's Royal Rumble with a serious neck injury.
It's worth noting the WWE teased a tag team match pitting Bryan and Dolph Ziggler against Sheamus and Barrett for this week's SmackDown, but then changed it to Bryan vs. Sheamus in a singles bout.
It's likely the WWE wanted Ziggler to sell the beating the "Celtic Warrior" gave him this past week on RAW during his return.
Sheamus is back with a rougher personality, and apparently it translated into the ring on SmackDown.
