George Springer Catch [VIDEO]: Houston Astros Outfielder Robs A Grand Slam, Saves Game With Amazing Grab [VIDEO]

Terms like "amazing play" and "catch of the year" get thrown around a little too often around in baseball fans, but Houston Astros right fielder George Springer really did put on an unbelievable display during the 10th inning of Sundays match-up versus the Rangers.

With the bases loaded and the tie game on the line, Texas' hitter Leonys Martin sent an 0-2 pitch as a fly ball to deep right that look like a near-center walk-off grand slam.

Springer, however, had other plans.

The second-year outfielder got a good jump on the ball and made a beeline to the right field wall. He made a well-timed leaning jump and was able to wrestle the ball away from the stands at the last second.

The game remained knotted at 4 apiece thanks to Springer's feat of athleticism. The game-saver later helped set up a game-winner; what was going to be a loss for the Stros instead ended up being a 6-4 victory.
