Everyone is well aware of the report that the Browns are “90% done” with considering Johnny Manziel in their future plans, but Manziel’s actual coach Mike Pettine is sporting a much different attitude.

“I filed that one in the ridiculous category,” he said, via Pro Football Talk. “He’s very much in our plans.

“His career with us hit the pause button,” Pettine continued, referencing Manziel’s ten-week stint in rehab to curb his partying and drinking. However, he said Manziel very much has the opportunity to come into camp and compete for the starting quarterback job.

There’s another notable Cleveland sports figure who remains in Manziel’s camp. Cavaliers superstar LeBron James told Cleveland.com this week that, as far as he’s concerned, Manziel is still “a part of the family.”

Manziel returned LeBron the favor on Sunday, by showing up at the Quicken Loans Arena to cheer on the Cavs in their game one playoff matchup versus the Boston Celtics.
