The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL. The Two teams have finished near the top of the NFC East in several of the previous seasons, and they are the presumptive favorites again in 2015. There is also a lot of history between the teams, and there is a little bit of good, old-fashioned dislike between the franchises.

That all could go up another notch in the coming season after what transpired in free agency. Dallas elected to let star running back DeMarco Murray leave rather than giving him an exorbitant contract. The Philadelphia Eagles had no such qualms, and they snatched Murray up when they had the chance. Now, he will face his old team twice a year for the foreseeable future.
According to CBS Philly, Murray does not think that his team switch (many Cowboys fans prefer to use the term defection) will be that big of a deal. He still plans to handle his business and try and help his new team compete.

"I'm not worried about the Cowboys," Murray said Thursday. "I think I've moved on and I wish those guys the best, and once that game comes ahead we'll focus on that. But right now, we're just focused on today and that's trying to get stronger in this weight room. We got a lower body lift today, so we're gonna get after it a little bit."
Murray added that he is aware of the rivalry and how the fans feel.
"I definitely knew that over the past four years," Murray said, when asked about the rivalry. "I've gotten the wrath, the hatred, being on the other side. So, I've known about the hatred."
This year, he will get to experience it from the opposite side of the field.
