Miami Dolphins Mock Draft: 3 Trades The 'Fins Should Consider for 2015 NFL Draft

Miami Dolphins General Manager Dennis Hickey laid the foundation in March for potential movement in the 2015 NFL Draft. With needs at multiple positions, trading the No. 14 overall pick remains a possibility for the team.

Does Greg Jennings Change Miami's Draft Plans?

"We'd like to be able to massage the [draft] board to acquire more picks," Hickey said (via Sun Sentinel). "To get more chances at players."

With six picks at their disposal (No. 14, No. 47, No.114, No. 149, No. 150 and No. 191), below are three trades the Dolphins should consider next Thursday.

No. 14 for No. 29

Dropping deep into the first round should be Miami's first option should the playmaker of their choice be off the board. Trading with the Indianapolis Colts—who may feel they are one player away from seriously contending for a Super Bowl—would not only allow the Dolphins to acquire an additional second rounder, but also a player of value. A second-tier wide receiver like Breshad Perriman would be a win across the board.

No. 14 and No. 47 for No. 7

It goes against Hickey's statement, but trading into the top 10 is a statement in itself. Moving up to No. 7 will all but guarantee Miami lands a difference maker on the offensive side of the ball. Amari Cooper will surely be off the board, but either Kevin White, Todd Gurley or DeVante Parker won't.

No. 14 for No. 17 and No. 83

If Todd Gurley is still available at No. 14, Miami will be able to demand a king's ransom for the No. 14 pick—one San Diego would undoubtedly be willing to pay. Dropping three picks and adding a third rounder would be a steal for Hickey.
