Tony Stewart Update: No 14 Driver Hurls Expletive at Dale Earnhardt Jr. Over Spin-Out [VIDEO]

Tony Stewart's cursed racing career continued last weekend at Richmond International Speedway. So it seemed only fitting that he cursed at Dale Earnhardt Jr., who made contact with Stewart and knocked him out of the race.

FoxSports.com presented audio of Stewart's reaction to Earnhardt after Stewart spun out, couldn't restart his car and finished in 41st place.

"Dale Junior (expletive)," Stewart said over the radio to crew chief Chad Johnston.

Stewart also was shown throwing his helmet and HANS device into the No. 14 hauler in frustration and did not speak with reporters after the race.

Earnhardt is heard telling his crew over the radio, "I was trying to stay low. Number 14 must have gotten into the left rear somehow."

Video replay of the collision shows that Earnhardt was angling back toward the middle of the track while Stewart was maintaining a straight path as if not to let Earnhardt come down. The two touched, and Stewart spun out.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Junior said he didn't know what happened that led to the bump.

"I don't know, you'll have to ask him," Junior said. "He hit me in the left rear quarterpanel. I was trying to clear the 51 on the outside of me so I was as high as I could go. You're going to have to ask him."

Actually, Earnhardt already had cleared Justin Allgaier, who was in the No. 51 car.

That's small consolation for Stewart, who had been racing among the top 15 all day before the spin-out. He had finished a season-best sixth the previous week at Bristol, but the tap with Earnhardt halted his momentum.

Yahoo! Sports speculated that Stewart, who is 30th in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, likely will need to win a race - something he has not done since June of 2013 - to have a chance to move into the top 12.

But after breaking his leg in August of 2013 and then being involved in the dirt-track tragedy that killed Kevin Ward Jr., it looks as though Stewart's luck is not changing any time soon.
