The Minnesota Vikings and Adrian Peterson are not seeing eye to eye on anything lately, and that especially includes the star running back's future with the team. Peterson wants to play somewhere else, and the team refuses to release him. They also do not have much interest in trading him, although they have been exploring options.
Adrian Peterson's Suspension A Blessing In Disguise?
Many teams have expressed a little interest in Peterson, but with the Vikings demanding a king's ransom for the former MVP, most have since dropped out. That includes the one-time favorite to make a trade, the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry Jones covets superstars, and he definitely wants Adrian Peterson. However, it appears that good business sense has won out in Dallas, as they have basically taken themselves out of the running for Peterson.

The running back is not giving up hope, according to ESPN. He spoke earlier this week about still wanting to end up playing for the Cowboys. "It would be nice," Peterson said. "I've got family here, my dad's here. But I'm under contract, so we'll see."
Of course, wanting something to happen does not make it so, and the Vikings still appear resolute in their desire to have Peterson on the roster in 2015, which general manager Rick Spielman reiterated at Minnesota's pre-draft press conference.
"We can just end the Adrian Peterson stuff," Spielman told reporters at the team's pre-draft news conference. "Our position has not changed. We have no interest in trading Adrian Peterson."
Obviously anything can happen, but it looks increasingly likely that Peterson will be stuck playing in Minnesota again this fall.
