The Players Championship—the unofficial fifth major of the PGA Tour—will begin play on Thursday. Tiger Woods returns to the course after finishing tied for 17th, playing just his second tournament of the year since returning from a self-imposed sabbatical.

Predictions
It's a safe bet, but Jordan Spieth's elimination from the WGC-Cadillac Match Play will serve as motivation this weekend. Spieth finished tied for fourth at the event last year, and showed every bit the poise and comfortableness necessary to walk away the winner.
