There was to be no repeat as champions for the San Antonio Spurs, as the defending NBA Finals winners were felled in the first round of the postseason by the Clippers. The series, a seven game nailbiter that went down to the final possession, was instantly hailed as one of the greatest series in playoff history. The Spurs loss looked like a heartbreaker.

However, if you follow the actual Spurs players themselves in the days since their heartbreaking defeat, their hearts don’t look that broken at all.
First, the team was spotted partying into the early hours at an L.A. nightclub—on the very same night of their Game 7 loss no less. Things got so rowdy that Tim Duncan had to carry one of his intoxicated teammates, Aron Baynes, onto the bus safely.
