Both were arrested at their home in Goodyear, Arizona on April 23 on assault charges after friends a family reported that the two were hitting and throwing things at each other.

According to CNN, the couple always maintained that the wedding would go ahead as planned, and both took to social media to express that they were ok and still committed to one another after the arrest.

Griner pled guilty to disorderly conduct after the incident, and she will be attending counseling for domestic violence issues.
