The announcement of Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods’ break-up last weekend was such an unexpected surprise to the sports world that fans have been searching for an explanation ever since.
Both Woods and Vonn cited a hectic schedule as the cause of their separation, but many found that explanation hard to believe considering how happy the couple had seemed even in the immediate weeks prior to the split. Lindsey Vonn in particular had discussed her relationship with Woods in a positive light on numerous television talk shows just days before their relationship ostensibly ended.
However, inside sources are telling The Daily Mail on Tuesday that it wasn’t a busy schedule that wedged the two lovebirds apart, but rather a night of infidelity on Tiger’s part.
‘He had a relapse in the sex department,’ a close friend told the Mail Online. “Lindsey found out about women again. Always while he’s on the road. Just like when he was with Elin.”
According to the “friend,” the illicit tryst happened around the time of Tiger’s time at the Farmer’s Insurance Classic in San Diego this February.
‘Yes, Tiger cheated again,” the source continued. “But it wasn’t with anyone special. He really wanted Lindsey to be the one. But he blew it again. He can’t help himself. He’s got an addiction. He relapsed.”
Obviously, baseless gossip from the Daily Mail is as old as the hills, and may very well be the case here as well. Woods did famously see his relationship with ex-wife Elin Nordegren deteriorate in 2009 and 2010 over widespread, rapacious cheating on Woods’ part with prostitutes and pornographic actresses.
Neither Vonn nor Woods have commented on these latest allegations.
