Despite being displayed prominently in Ann Arbor's Aerial Assault Camp promotional material, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick won't serve as a camp instructor.
The camp, part of new Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh's attempts to lure top recruits to his program, features several big names, including No. 1 Tampa Bay Bucs draft choice Jameis Winston, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler - although Cutler's name is not mentioned on the Michigan camp's website - and 49ers backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert.

Kaepernick has a prior commitment, his own third annual youth football camp from June 20-21 at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco, SFGate.com reported.
The mistake looks innocent enough, but then why the double-booking? News of Kaepernick assisting Harbaugh became public last month, but shouldn't Kaepernick or whatever party is responsible for his calendar have checked to make sure he had no conflict?

His camp, after all, is the third annual, so it's not like he would've been blindsided by a potential conflict.
Then again, Kaepernick already has proven himself to be unintentionally oblivious in some of his actions. Last week, he put his new signature hashtag, #7StormsComing on his Instagram account with a photo of the devastating thunder storms that had ravaged Houston.
The 49ers quarterback then tried to correct his error by posting, "No disrespect intended! Prayers up!"
As the backlash continued, Kaepernick finally issued a proper apology.

Fansided.com addressed that incident, showing mercy on Kaepernick.
"As the firestorm of controversy grew, Kaepernick realized he'd made a mistake and owned up to it by apologizing for his actions and insensitive remarks," Fansided.com reported. "His intentions were meant as a joke, not to make light of a serious matter like the storm in Houston.
"Does all of this make Kaepernick a bad guy? Nope, he's just human being who made a mistake."
Unfortunately for Kap, his mistakes are magnified based on his celebrity.
His latest faux pas probably disappointed some high-school aged kids planning on attending his camp and cause minor embarrassment, perhaps, to Harbaugh and the camp for backing out, but it was not nearly as insensitive as his storms post.
