Brock Lesnar WWE Rumors: 5 Possible Feuds For 'The Beast' After Return [VIDEO]

Brock Lesnar returned to the WWE on Monday Night RAW this week to kick off his summer-long arc.

Triple H vs. Seth Rollins Slated For SummerSlam?

While it remains to be seen what The Beast's long-term storyline will consist of, he has first been booked to battle Seth Rollins at Battleground for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on July 19 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.

Lesnar was never pinned to lose the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as he lost it when Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31 to make The Beast's bout with Roman Reigns a Triple Threat Match.

Rollins then pinned the leader of the Roman Empire to win the richest prize in the game.

While The Beast is back to take on the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion, here are five other potential feuds for Lesnar this summer and beyond.

Bray Wyatt

This would provide an interesting matchup as Wyatt, at 6-foot-3, 285 pounds, wouldn't be a pushover for The Beast to just barrel through. The Eater of Worlds could draw the ire of Lesnar by playing mind games with him leading up to the match, causing the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion to want to destroy him while the New Face of Fear would continue to frustrate him and get the better of him. A Wyatt vs. Lesnar feud has plenty of potential, especially with Heyman and Wyatt going back-and-forth on the microphone.

Sheamus

While it wasn't everyone's favorite choice, the WWE handed the Money in the Bank briefcase over to The Celtic Warrior and he is likely do for a big push sometime in the next year. If Lesnar were to win the gold from Rollins, he could very well end up meeting up with Sheamus if the Irish Superstar cashes-in, but the WWE could also have these two titans feud without the belt being implicated. It would at the very least be interesting to see the two behemoths go at it, and hopefully it would be a world apart and much better than the infamous Lesnar-Goldberg match from WrestleMania XX in 2004.

Kevin Owens

The NXT Champion has burst onto the main roster after a lengthy 15-year journey and so far he has already proven he can more than hold his own. Owens has already had two amazing matches with Face of the Franchise John Cena over the last couple of months, so if he can hang with the No. 1 guy in the promotion, he can battle Lesnar. Lesnar and Owens both have bad ass personas, with The Beast going crazy and getting suspended on RAW in March and Owens being unstable enough in storyline that he powerbombed rapper Machine Gun Kelly off the stage on this week's edition of the flagship show. The personalites of these two men are almost too perfectly connected for them not to feud.

Randy Orton

There have been rumors that The Viper and The Beast could collide at SummerSlam on Aug. 23 and that would actually be a pretty fascinating matchup. While Lesnar has the physical edge over his counterpart, Orton would be able to conceivably stand a chance in kayfabe due to his speed, craftiness and potent offense. Orton's move set looks believable against Lesnar because signatures like the RKO, between-the-ropes DDT and punt are more believable than some of the WWE's more contrived spots.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin

This one is an absolute long-shot, but since it was teased by Heyman and the Texas Rattlesnake, it's a fun fantasy match. Austin hasn't wrestled since 2003 and he and Heyman have both dismissed the match after initially teasing it while it's said that Vince McMahon doesn't plan on this contest taking place in the middle of his ring. If it did happen, it would likely be saved for WrestleMania 32 in Austin's home state of Texas. An Austin vs. Lesnar match would arguably be one of the most highly anticipated bouts of all-time if the WWE were somehow ever able to make it come to fruition.
