Colin Kaepernick Update: Oakland Fight Fans in Oracle Arena Shower 49ers QB With Boos [VIDEO]

Watch it, NFL fans in Oakland, Calif. Colin Kaepernick soon may be the only quarterback you have to cheer for.

CBS Sports and the San Jose Mercury News both reported that the San Francisco 49ers quarterback, who has enjoyed as positive an offseason as any athlete can, found a dose of reality over the weekend at Oracle Arena.

Raiders sure to move to LA after 2015 season?

Kaepernick was in attendance at the boxing match between undefeated middleweight Andre Ward and Britain's Patrick Smith. Kaepernick was recognized as one of the celebrities in attendance at the arena, located in Oakland and conducted an interview, in which the crowd booed him - by several accounts, CBS Sports reported.

Those boos turned to cheers when the crowd watched NBA MVP Stephen Curry of the world champion Golden State Warriors make his way toward ringside. Curry led the Warriors to the franchise's first championship in 40 years after disposing of the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

49ers closer to returning to elite status because of newfound cap space, Colin Kaepernick transformation?

Kaepernick didn't seem to mind; he was photographed talking to and sharing a laugh with Curry. He also was photographed talking to another celebrity at the event, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch.

Oakland could be out of a team after the 2015 season. The Raiders are one of three teams interested in moving to Los Angeles after the season, and CBS Sports reported that they appear certain to move and are waiting only to find out whether they will share a stadium with the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood, Calif., or a stadium in Carson, Calif., with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 49ers are counting on Kaepernick, who spent his offseason working diligently with two-time NFL MVP Kurt Warner and quarterbacks guru Dennis Gile on the nuances of pocket-passing, to have the best year of his career, after he had, perhaps, his worst year in 2014-15.

So far, all reports on Kaepernick during the offseason have detailed his progress in his deep-ball accuracy, short-pass touch and leadership.
