WWE 'Battleground' 2015 Rumors & Predictons: 5 Possible Outcomes For Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins

This Sunday night, Seth Rollins has arguably his biggest WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense yet when he takes on Brock Lesnar at Battleground.

The Beast and The Architect go head-to-head Sunday night at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis in a match that is must-see for any wrestling fan with SummerSlam looming in the background.

Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 31 in March to win Lesnar's title by pinning Roman Reigns, and now The Beast is back to make the former Shield member's life a living hell.

Before the bell rings on one of the biggest matches of this summer, here's a look at five possible outcomes to the bout.

1) The Undertaker Returns

The Deadman has been rumored for RAW this week in Kansas City and there is also speculation that he'll have a match at SummerSlam, so it is probable that he could make his way to St. Louis to settle the score with Lesnar. 'Taker lost The Streak to The Beast at WrestleMania XXX and could very well rekindle the feud to try and get his win back. It's possible that the Demon from Death Valley could interfere and Tombstone Lesnar, helping Rollins win, or draw the DQ by attacking The Beast.

2) Triple H:

The Game could very well get involved in the match since the rest of The Authority has been taken out. Triple H could make his presence felt by either helping Rollins or screwing him out of the title, leading the former Shield member to either be mad at Triple H for not letting him prove himself on his own, or angry at the COO for turning on him. This could in turn set up their rumored bout at SummerSlam.

3) Shield Reunion:

This is a highly unlikely option, but with rumors of a Seth Rollins vs. Triple H match at SummerSlam, the company could turn The Architect back into a babyface by having his old pals Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose reunite and Triple Power Bomb Lesnar through a table, which might be the only way to keep The Beast down for a three count. It could also draw a DQ to help keep the belt on The Architect without having to pin Lesnar. The Game could then be upset at this reunion, leading to his match with Rollins next month.

4) Heyman Screwjob:

Paul Heyman has turned on Lesnar in the past, most notably in a WWE Championship match at Survivor Series 2002 with The Big Show. The WWE could have the ECW creator strike a deal with The Authority to betray The Beast, though it could damage Lesnar since he's better with a mouthpiece such as the best talker in the business in Heyman.

5) Lesnar Wins:

The WWE could also just have Lesnar continue his dominant run through the company by defeating Rollins in this seemingly unfair bout. This way, Rollins-Triple H wouldn't have the title on the line if it happens next month, and The Beast could face whomever -- even The Undertaker -- for the gold at SummerSlam. This would once again risk having the richest prize in the game on a part-time Superstar, but the WWE could also easily dethrone Lesnar next month at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
