Maria Sharapova, Grigor Dimitrov Rumors: Couple Breaks Up After Dimitrov Cheated on Russian Star? [VIDEO]

Grigor Dimitrov's losing streak in 2015 has hit the big time.

The New York Post, citing a tweet from ESPN business reporter Darren Rovell, is reporting that Maria Sharapova and Dimitrov have ended their three-year relationship.

The Post noted that representative for the tennis stars have yet to confirm the breakup. The couple appeared headed for marriage when Sharapova began wearing a ring last fall while with Dimitrov in London.

Tennis-x.com, however, cited a Bulgarian news reports from Dunavmost.bg, that suggested Dimitrov cheated on the Russian star during Wimbledon with Bulgarian playmate of the year Nikoteta Lozanova.

According to tennis-x.com, Sharapova ended the relationship when she found out and took back a Porche she had given to Dimitrov.

Maria Sharapova's best chance of beating Serena Williams at Wimbledon?

The Daily Mail recently posted photos of Sharapova in a two-piece bathing suit while on vacation at a beach on St. Stephens Island in Montenegro. She was with a female friend, but Dimitrov was with the Bulgarian Davis Cup team at the time as it played a second-round match against Luxemborg.

Sharapova currently is No. 2 in the world after having reached the semifinals at Wimbledon. However, longtime nemesis Serena Williams ended Sharapova's run in London, beating her for the 17th straight time.

Dimitrov, who was as high as No. 8 in the world, currently is ranked No. 16 after a so-so 22-13 record in 2015, which is considered somewhat of a disappointment. He lost in straight sets in the third round at Wimbledon to eventual quarterfinalist Richard Gasquet.

One silver lining for Dimitrov is a report that tennis-x.com passed along that he might soon hire former Andy Murray coach Ivan Lendl as his new coach. Under Lendl, Murray won his only two Grand Slam titles - the 2012 US Open and the 2013 Wimbledon.

It seems little of little consolation in losing Sharapova.
