NXT 'Takeover: Brooklyn' Predictions: Previewing Saturday Night's Card In New York City [VIDEO]

It's the biggest night in NXT history as the future of the WWE invades New York City for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

Six matches will take place on a card that is highlighted by the highly-anticipated NXT Championship rematch between the curmudgeon challenger Kevin Owens and the reigning title-holder Finn Balor. To make matters even more intriguing, these two NXT Superstars will go head-to-head in one of the most dangerous bouts in professional wrestling: A Ladder Match.

WWE SummerSlam Predictions & Preview

This card is stacked with three different title matches, including another clash the WWE Universe is looking forward to between NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks and No. 1 contender Bayley.

Without further ado, here are our predictions and a preview for NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.

10 Booking Decisions We Want To See At SummerSlam

Apollo Crews vs. Tye Dillinger

Crews, the former Uhaa Nation, rose to prominence in Japan and on the Independent circuit and he will finally make his debut after a lot of hype. He'll take on the "Perfect 10" in Dillinger, and while it likely won't be a squash, it's hard to see Crews losing here.

The Pick: Apollo Crews

Baron Corbin vs. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe, former darling of the Indy scene, was brought in here as a veteran presence in NXT to help continue to build on the positive momentum the brand has built. Corbin is a tough guy, but in the end he'll fall to the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

The Pick: Samoa Joe.

Jushin Thunder Liger vs. Tyler Breeze

Liger is a legend and even at age 50 he's still doing his thing. The WWE has brought him in as a special added attraction for this event and he'll look to teach the male model a lesson. It's unknown if Liger's appearance is a one-off, but if it is, it'll make sense for him to make Breeze look like a million bucks. Whether or not Liger sticks around, it seems the arrogant NXT star should be the one to go over here.

The Pick: Tyler Breeze

NXT Tag Team Championships: Blake & Murphy (c) vs. The Vaudevillians (Aiden English & Simon Gotch)

The old school tandem of English and Gotch has tried to wrest the titles away from Blake and Murphy in the past, but Alexa Bliss has continued to be a thorn in their side. Bliss will likely play a role in this match regardless of which team stands tall, but it seems as though it's time for The Vaudevillians to counteract Bliss, either by hatching a plan or bringing out their own valet to thwart off her advances. It's time for the team that feels as though it came from the 1920s to win some gold.

The Pick: The Vaudevillians

NXT Women's Championship: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bayley

Since making her way to the main roster to join Team B.A.D., Banks has already shown that she is part of the bright future in the Divas division. "The Boss" has looked great against some of the WWE's most talented ladies, and she even made reigning Divas Champion Nikki Bella tap out on RAW this week.

It'll be tough to imagine Bayley defeating someone who has already beaten the top Diva in the WWE, but it might be time for the nice girl to have her day. Banks has lived up to her "boss" moniker in her rivalry with Bayley, but this could be building toward a feel-good ending. This match will free Banks of NXT and simultaneously jump-start Bayley as a force to be reckoned with.

If the NXT Championship bout wasn't a Ladder Match, it would be awesome for this to close out the show.

The Pick: Bayley

NXT Championship Ladder Match: Finn Balor (c) vs. Kevin Owens

A lot of people were shocked when Balor dethroned Owens of the NXT Championship on July 4 in Tokyo at Beast in the East, and it set-off a chain reaction of bad events for KO. Not only did Owens come in as champion to that bout, but he had a victory over John Cena in his WWE debut match leading into it.

After losing the title to Balor, Owens fell to Cena in their rubber match and now he's out for vengeance against the reigning champion. This bout will be unbelievable as Owens takes out two-month's worth of aggression while Balor will look to prove he belongs on top in NXT.

As for a winner, the WWE may do something buzz worthy to have people talking about NXT, but there's no telling what will happen come Saturday night. Perhaps Cesaro will fire an opening salvo prior to his match with Owens at SummerSlam? Maybe Balor really is a Paul Heyman Guy like he hinted?

Anything can happen, but with Owens moving onto the main roster, it makes sense for Balor to retain here on a huge platform for NXT.

The Pick: Finn Balor

It's the biggest night in NXT history when the WWE's future takes over Brooklyn.
