Andrew Luck is now the odds-on favorite for the 2015 NFL MVP, per Bovada. The former No.1-overall pick opened at +300, with Rodgers slightly behind at +400.
Those interested in wasting their money by betting on non-QBs in a QB-driven league can turn to Adrian Peterson (+1200) and J.J. Watt (+2000).

Unsurprisingly, Peyton Manning (+1600), Ben Roethlisberger (+2000), Tom Brady (+2000), Drew Brees (+2500), Russell Wilson (+2500) and Tony Romo (+2500) rounded out a QB-heavy top-10 list of favorites.
The logic behind Luck's anointment as the favorite, however, is a puzzling one.
In losing Nelson, the Packers lost the team's go-to WR. The 30-year-old finished last season with 98 catches for 1,519 yards and 13 TDs. Rodgers will now be forced to rely on younger and unproven players the likes of Myles White, Jeff Janis and Ty Montgomery.

Unlike Luck, Rodgers will have to do more with less—an argument that will bode well for him in MVP discussions.
The offseason additions of Frank Gore and Andre Johnson only bolstered Indianapolis' roster and leaves Luck with a myriad of weapons at his disposal. Any astronomical statistics he posts will be expected.
Rodgers, on the other hand, has the added benefit of facing adversity. Given his consistency and quality—not to mention a career QB rating of 106.0—it's an advantage oddsmakers should've considered.
