Caitlyn Jenner Golf: Former Olympian Will Whoop Your Ass From Any Tees [VIDEO]

Matt Lauer wasn't shy about asking the obvious question when he hit the links with Caitlyn Jenner.

Lauer joined Jenner for a round of golf Wednesday on the "Today Show" and he asked her if she would hit from the ladies' tee or not. It wasn't a bad question, considering when she was Bruce Jenner, the former Olympian had a knack for playing golf and ripping shots from the tee.

When Lauer posed the question, Jenner already knew it was coming and smiled.

"I know what you're gonna say, am I gonna hit from the ladies tees?" Jenner said with a laugh in the video, courtesy of TMZ. "Of course I am."

Lauer playfully protested saying it's not fair, to which Jenner asked, "You can't take it?"

The two reached a compromise, with Jenner agreeing to hit from "the tips," which is the furthest tee.

As they were walking from hole to hole, Lauer turned it to a serious discussion and asked Jenner if she was aware of some of the negative comments that stemmed from her winning the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs in July.

"Yeah, that [I] didn't deserve it and this and that," Jenner said when asked if she heard any of the criticisms. "I didn't ask for it, they gave me the award. Did it take a lot of courage to come out? Absolutely. Did I have tremendous respect for Arthur Ashe and that award? Absolutely. And I'm very honored to have them award that to me, not just to me, but to this entire community. So, I'm very pleased the way it turned out."

Judging by Jenner's golf game, Lauer likely wasn't pleased with the way their friendly contest turned out.
