Sasha Banks WWE News: 3 Reasons Bayley Will Win Iron Woman Match At 'NXT Takeover 7' [VIDEO]

For the first time in its history, the WWE has booked an Iron Woman Match between Bayley and Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover 7 on Oct. 7 at Full Sail University in Florida.

After months of buildup and shortcomings, Bayley unseated Banks as the NXT Women's Champion in a match that stole the show at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn last month, which many have called the true Divas Revolution. Banks and Bayley told a tremendous story in what was a 2015 Match of the Year candidate -- not just for the ladies -- in a contest that spanned just over 18 minutes.

Ranking The 10 Best WWE World Heavyweight Champions In History

Now the ladies have been given a half hour and the stakes are even higher as the match will be the main event, the final bout of the evening. The rules are simple, Banks and Bayley will clash for 30 minutes and the match won't end until the time expires. Whoever has the most falls, via pin, submission, DQ or countout at the end will be the NXT Women's Champion.

Before these ladies undoubtedly steal the show at NXT Takeover 7, here are three reasons why we believe Bayley will retain.

5 Best World Title Bouts In WWE Night Of Champions History

1) The New Champ Is Here

Bayley spent months clawing her way up the NXT ranks only to fail on the big stage time and time again. The WWE invested a lot into her storyline, and that's why her big win under the bright lights of the Barclays Center last month the night before SummerSlam had so much emotional momentum behind it. With Bayley finally able to knock off Banks, it paid off a months-worth of storylines, which is rare this day and age in the WWE (or even NXT).

With Bayley finally cementing herself as the champion, her major title defense against Bayley comes less than two months into her reign. It would be a mistake for the WWE to derail her title run this quickly, so it makes sense for Bayley to go over in a hard-fought match to prove to the world she is a force to be reckoned with atop NXT.

2) Banks Statement On The Main Roster

"The Boss" is part of the "Divas Revolution" going on up in the main WWE roster, so it's hard to see her splitting time between the big promotion and NXT. Though the revolution could use some momentum, especially in comparison to what Banks and Bayley did in Brooklyn, Banks is still a huge part of the movement for improvement in the WWE.

Being a part of Team B.A.D. along with Naomi and Tamina during their feud with Team Bella and Team PCB is a vital part of Banks' character. Now that she's on the main roster, it's not logical for her to win the NXT Championship again and have to filter her way between both entities. Banks' sites should be set on the Divas Championship now that she's left NXT and carved her name on RAW and SmackDown,  while Bayley should serve as the present and future of NXT as its Women's Champion.

3) 192 Days Of Sasha

Banks has already had a lengthy run with the NXT Women's Championship and it did wonders for her, so it's time for Bayley to follow suit. Banks won the gold from Charlotte at NXT Takeover: Rival in February and held onto it until falling to Bayley last month. Banks did amazing things with the title and if NXT Takeover 7 proves to be her swansong in the WWE's minor leagues, she's sure to go out with a bang.

"The Boss" ran the division for several months to build herself up for a spot in the WWE Divas division and now that she's moving on, she can give Bayley one final gift by losing to her a second time in what could go down as one of the best women's matches in NXT (and WWE) history.
