Dallas Cowboys Rumors: 3 Good Pickups To Survive Dez Bryant Injury [VIDEO]

The Cowboys are basking in a huge divisional victory over the Giants on Sunday Night Football but soon their attention will turn to the gaping hole left in their receiving corps after Dez Bryant suffered a broken bone in his foot. According to reports, Bryant will require surgery and miss four to six weeks.

Here are three solid options to help soften the blow of losing a first round pick on your fantasy team.

James Jones, Packers

Jones has returned from the fantasy dead! With Jordy Nelson done for the year, most expected second-year receiver Davante Adams to step in and be a major part of the offense. Adams wasn’t bad; he caught four passes for 59 yards. Jones stole the show, however, grabbing four passes for 51 yards and two scores.

It’s very possible that Adams has a big day in Week 2, or Randall Cobb explodes, but we now know Jones is going to be a part of this passing attack for sure. With Aaron Rodgers at the helm, it should be one of the NFL’s best passing offenses so grabbing any piece of it makes sense.

Percy Harvin, Bills

Don’t overreact to Harvin’s 79-yard, one-score game. The Bills won’t be confused for a passing juggernaut with Tyrod Taylor running the show, and Sammy Watkins will absolutely be more involved in their offense going forward, but if there’s one free agent with really great upside it’s the 41 percent owned Harvin.

Fans of the Vikings, Seahawks and Jets all hoped that Harvin’s outwardly limitless potential would shine through to no avail. Injuries, bad quarterback play, and attitude have all contributed at some point to him being a disappointment. Without overreacting, Harvin might be an excellent addition right now if you just lost Bryant.

Cole Beasley, Cowboys

In-house option always make sense, and Terrance Williams, who figures to benefit the most, is already owned in 56 percent of leagues (per Yahoo). Beasley doesn’t have a fraction of the upside of Bryant on a weekly basis, but he will see his targets increase. He had four catches for 49 yards on Sunday night, and he could see some touchdown looks go his way without Bryant soaking them all up.
