Drake might be the new Jessica Simpson after Serena Williams blew her chance at a calendar year Grand Slam at the U.S. Open last week. If he is, Williams isn’t buying into it yet though.
The rumored couple made it very obvious that they’re together at Williams’ fashion show. Several Drake songs were featured while models walked the runway, and backstage the pair had their eyes locked on one another while engaging in a conversation that seemed deeper than the Atlantic ocean. Once Williams realized she had to schmooze a little Drake gave her a tender kiss on the hand.

Williams seemed overjoyed at his presence, a nice departure from the frustration she showed at the U.S. Open when a virtually unknown Italian named Roberta Vinci stunned her as Drake watched – and grimaced – from afar.

Taking the fashion setting a little further, Williams and Drake even had some fun on social media when Drake posted a photo of himself sitting next to fashion icon Anna Wintour and called her “BAE.” Williams posted a couple of dismissive, hand wave emojis to express displeasure with being displaced. She ended up deleting them too, proving famous people aren’t allowed to have fun anymore.
