They say “Honey badger don’t care,” but even the honey badger looks up to Panthers winger Jaromir Jagr as the king of apathy. The Czech hockey legend recently had a fling with an 18-year-old model named Catherine, who tried to blackmail him with a selfie after their night out.
Catherine took a selfie of herself with her lips puckered and her hand in a peace sign while Jagr snoozed.

She was seeking $2,000, but instead just failed at embarrassing Jagr. In addition, she probably succeeded in blowing up her relationship with Czech junior player Dominik Rudl, whose birth coincided with Jagr’s sixth NHL season. Jagr was approached about paying up to keep the photo off the media’s grid, but responded he “didn’t care” what she did with it per Yahoo.
Jagr won’t come off looking too bad from this incident. Although there’s a significant age gap between he and Catherine, Jagr, unlike Catherine, is reportedly single. Instead of drawing scorn for his promiscuity, he has instead inspired a social media craze of people one-upping themselves doing Catherine’s pose.
