'WrestleMania 32' Rumors: Why It's Imperative Seth Rollins Remains WWE Champ Until 'Mania

Seth Rollins needs to hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship until WrestleMania 32.

6 Best Undertaker Hell In A Cell Matches

Rollins stunned the WWE Universe when he was booked to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract. Now, the WWE creative team needs to invest in long-term planning for once and keep the belt on him until the "Show of Shows."

Rollins should hold the richest prize in the game all the way until WrestleMania 32 on April 3, 2016, as a way for the WWE to reward him for all he's done. Here are three reasons why.

3 Better Feuds For Seth Rollins Than Kane

1) Heeling It Up

When Brock Lesnar was nowhere to be found due to the nature of his contract, Rollins served as the top heel in the company even without the gold. It was during this span between SummerSlam in 2014 and WrestleMania 31 that Rollins showed he had what it took to be the top Superstar in the company.

The former Hounds of Justice leader dazzled in the ring and was able to be a main event player without wearing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and now that he has it, he should keep it for a long time.

2) Restoring Prestige

The WWE has a habit of playing hot potato with title reigns, so having someone hold the company's biggest prize for over a year will continue to add to its importance and will make it even bigger when Rollins loses it. When CM Punk held the belt for 434 days, it was one of the best storylines of the last five years.

Rollins staying on top for over a year would be an amazing feat for him at just age 29 and would put him on par with the likes of "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who held the WWE Championship from WrestleMania IV (1988) until WrestleMania V (1989).

3) Believe In The Shield

Rollins started gaining steam as a huge player when he took out his former Shield stablemates Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose with a steel chair in June 2014. The two Superstars have sought revenge on The Authority's golden boy in separate feuds, but the three have never been in the ring together without other Superstars being involved.

For the main event of the biggest show of the year, the WWE should show the future is now by having Rollins defend his title against Reigns and Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match. After the trio made their debut together at Survivor Series 2012, they'd come full circle by facing each other for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the biggest show of the year. Enough with the Kane feuds, Rollins needs something good at WrestleMania.
