Ronda Rousey Rumors: UFC Drug Testing Stats Indicate Suspicion Of 'Rowdy' [VIDEO]

Ronda Rousey is the UFC women’s bantamweight champion, and arguably the company’s most recognizable and bankable star. At 12-0, she has barely faced danger inside the octagon, and has beaten her last three opponents combined in 1:04. Apparently that has aroused some suspicion.

USADA, a drug testing agency that takes its cues from WDA, the organization used to test Olympic athletes, has tested Rousey five times, the most of any fighter in the UFC. Bloody Elbow reported that Bethe Correia, Rousey’s most recent opponent, has been tested four times as well, so Rousey’s high number might be attributed to her having fought twice already in 2015.

The high number suggests Rousey is clean as a whistle, leaving her free to continue mocking Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino, a fighter many MMA observers feel poses the most credible challenge to Rousey’s supremacy. Cyborg, who was busted in 2012 for using performance enhancing drugs, has been on the receiving end of several verbal haymakers from Rousey about her PED past.

Lately, as rumors of a fight in the future have heated up, Cyborg is going to great lengths to prove she’s clean. Yesterday she tweeted out a picture of USADA coming to administer a random test.

Rousey is outspoken against not only Cyborg, but performance enhancing drugs in general. Recently, during a press conference in Australia, Rousey railed against the Nevada State Athletic Commission suspending Nick Diaz for five years because of his third failed test for marijuana, while Anderson Silva was suspended for a year for PEDs.
