“I don't think he [Bale] wants to be the best model in the world or the best underwear seller,” Barnett said, per the Daily Mail. “That's not him.”
Barnett’s comments add fuel to the speculation of a riff in the Madrid locker room -- one potentially responsible for poor results in La Liga. Real opened the campaign with a scoreless draw at Sporting Gijon, only to follow it with draws against Malaga and Atletico Madrid.
The club is second in the table with 15 points, one behind Villarreal.
Previous incidents only exacerbate the feud.
Most players would be satisfied with a teammate scoring, but not Ronaldo.

Whatever riff exists, it’s imperative manager Rafa Benitez rectifies it. A trip to the Parc des Princes awaits Madrid and the club is just a month away from the first Clasico of the season.
