'Wrestlemania 32' Rumors: Brock Lesnar's Stone Cold Podcast Spot Could Start A Program Build [VIDEO]

The WWE has the chance to fire the first salvo in a potential Brock Lesnar and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin feud.

Though "The Beast" is appearing on Austin's podcast on the WWE Network Monday to build his upcoming battle with The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell, the hype machine that is the WWE could also begin to lay groundwork toward something else. There have been rumors that Lesnar and Austin would go head-to-head at WrestleMania 32, and perhaps tonight will be an indicator that the WWE plans to do the match.

Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker: Who Needs A Win More?

The hype for a potential clash between two of the biggest names in wrestling began when Lesnar's mouthpiece, Paul Heyman, appeared in the same forum and foreshadowed a possible bout between the two icons. The two have downplayed it in the days following, with Heyman saying there's "zero chance" that it happens and Austin calling any type of comeback for him a "bulls--t rumor."

Fans can either take those claims at face value, or believe that the two are trying to throw them off the scent. Austin hasn't competed since 2003 due to myriad neck problems, but he himself said that he'd love to return at WrestleMania 32, since it takes place in his home state of Texas at AT&T Stadium on April 3, 2016.

5 Things To Watch For On Monday Night RAW

"I'll reserve my right to if I want to have another match down the road - say, like, Dallas, Texas is going to be [WrestleMania 32]," Austin said in the summer of 2014. "Now, Dallas, that could be very special going back to Texas for 32. They're going to need a loaded card to fill that house. So, I'll reserve my right. But, am I pushing, pandering, selling, promoting? Nothing."

Loaded isn't the word for the type of draw a main event featuring "The Texas Rattlesnake's" first match back in over a decade would be. The only other issue, aside from Austin's willingness to do it, would be whether or not he wants to face Lesnar or, given his injury history, a safer opponent.

Still, since the bout was already hinted at, it's highly possible the WWE does something to get people talking about the podcast Monday, especially since they're hoping to garner more subscriptions for the WWE Network. If Lesnar and Austin were to get into a verbal spat or "The Beast" attacked Austin ahead of his Undertaker clash, that would generate a huge buzz.

Austin vs. Lesnar is an absolute dream match for WrestleMania 32. The WWE can start the hype Monday night.
