“Those three guys are really good in that [pick-and-roll] game,” head coach Steve Clifford said in regard to Lin, Kemba Walker and Nicolas Batum, per Gaston Gazette. “We certainly anticipate taking advantage of all three as much as we can once the season starts.”

For Lin, the season can’t start soon enough.
“It’s been a long preseason,” he said. “You combine the coming in early to get for China and going over there and it feels like forever. So I’m ready.

Finishing 7-1 during the preseason, there is room for optimism. Lin averaged 15.3 points, 3.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds in seven preseason games.
He’ll need to duplicate his success when it matters if the Hornets are to live up to preseason expectations come April.
