Tim Tebow recently was honored for his charitable work at an event in Brooklyn that The Thrive Network hosted, according to thepostgame.com.

Michael Irvin Says Cowboys Must Sign Greg Hardy To Long-Term Contract

Neither Rice nor Tebow are in the league. The NFL has 12 teams that are averaging fewer than 100 yards rushing per game, yet none have contacted a 28-year-old player that has four 1,000-yard rushing seasons and has not taken a hit in a game for almost two years.

The Cowboys have not won a game since quarterback Tony Romo was injured in Week 2. The 49ers continue to put their faith in fading Colin Kaepernick. The Browns' backup was involved in an alleged domestic incident -- Johnny Manziel's girlfriend told police he hit her during an argument in their car and admitted to drinking a few months after entering a rehab facility. The Texans have a backup quarterback (Ryan Mallett) that missed a team flight.

Dallas is 0-2 despite the presence of Hardy, who two incidents of embarrassing the team since coming off suspension after Week 4. He made inappropriate remarks about Tom Brady's wife, pushed an assistant coach (not even his position coach) and belittled reporters after the game.

All that has earned Hardy is two lectures from Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, who said Hardy would not be punished for his actions, according to NFL.com.

Which makes it that much harder for fans to understand under what parameters the league and its teams operate.
