The WWE is looking to set an attendance record at WrestleMania 32 and a marquee matchup between The Undertaker and Sting could help make that happen.

For years, there have been rumors that the WWE's resident "Demon from Death Valley" would clash with "The Vigilante" if the former WCW and TNA icon ever set foot in the WWE. Up to this point, that hasn't happened.
With the two being kept apart thus far throughout Sting's tenure in Vince McMahon's company, it's time for the WWE to change that. These two legends should battle at WrestleMania 32 on April 3, 2016, live from AT&T Stadium in Texas, and there are many reasons why.
5 Potential Traditonal Survivor Series Matches
1) It's Now Or Never
Sting just sustained a serious injury against Seth Rollins at Night of Champions last month and at age 56, it has raised a lot of questions about his return to the ring. The Undertaker will celebrate his 25th (!!!) anniversary with the WWE next month at Survivor Series and he has reached 50 years of age. With neither man having much left, and in Sting's case, possibly nothing, if there is one more match in the tank for "The Vigilante" it should be against the master of WrestleMania in Texas.
2) Missed Opportunities
There are several dream matches the WWE has whiffed on over the years, including, but not limited to, Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair at WrestleMania VIII and Hogan vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania X-8. The WWE can't run the risk of having another potential dream match slip through the cracks. For some reason, much like in those above instances, the company had different plans last year. WWE creative opted to have Sting face Triple H and The Undertaker battle Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31. They can't afford to let a legendary showdown fall through next year.
3) Limited Options
There's not much left for The Undertaker to do now that his feud with Lesnar is over. Sure, his rivalry with The Wyatt Family should occupy him through November, but come WrestleMania, unless the WWE plans to throw John Cena at the "Deadman," his list of quality opponents is minimal. Sting showed that he may not be ready to hang with some of the young guns the WWE has, as evidenced by his injury during his clash with Rollins, so one final match against a similar-style star in The Undertaker could be a nice final chapter in his career.
