Apparently, the Yankees captain has found his first mate.
Former Yankees star shortstop Derek Jeter and Victoria's Secret model Hannah Davis are engaged to be married, according to the New York Daily News.

"Jeter and Davis are finally ready to tie the knot after three years together, and if The Captain hasn't yet set a date, that'll be the next step," the Daily News reported.
"She already has the ring," the report continued. "The family is very happy because they really like him."

The couple has been dating for three years, according to the Daily News, and their relationship has become increasingly private since Hannah was spotted cheering for the Yankees at Wrigley Field in a game against the Cubs last year. Before his last professional baseball game, Jeter told NBC that his desire to start a family and raise children was one of the reasons he chose to leave the game.
"I want to have a family," Jeter said. "Who knows when it's gonna' be? But I look forward to it."
The surefire future Hall of Famer has had nearly as impressive a list of girlfriends. Among the women associated with Jeter have been singer Mariah Carey, former Miss Universe Laura Dutta, and actresses Jordana Brewster, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly and Gabrielle Union, according to ESPN New York.
So it is an impressive coup for the 25-year-old Davis to be the one to make an honest man of Jeter, 41. Of course, being engaged is not a guarantee that the two will be married, but it's hard to imagine Jeter backing out after checking out his impressive list of exes.
