Pittsburgh Steelers News: Former QB Kordell Stewart Wants Money For Being Called Gay [VIDEO]

Kordell Stewart couldn't win big on the football field, but he'll try his fortunes in the courtroom. The former Steelers QB is suing reality show cast member Andrew Caldwell, per AJC.com.

Caldwell made statements indicating he'd had a relationship with Stewart, but later retracted them.

"I want to personally apologize to Kordell Stewart for mentioning his name and making false accusations," Caldwell said, per Ok Magazine. "I don't know [Kordell]. From the bottom of my heart, I do apologize and I'm sincerely sorry and will not be going on any interviews and will not be mentioning your name at all.

"I ask you to forgive me and I apologize for anything and everything that I've done to you."

Clearly, apology not accepted.

Stewart is also going after Jarrius Keyun Moon and Catalyst Next LLC. The aforementioned parties control the Internet morning show "The ShakeUP," where Caldwell made his initial claims.

"At all times during his life, Mr. Stewart has been, and is, a heterosexual male," the suit claims. "The false and defamatory rumors that Mr. Caldwell and Defendant Moon agreed to publish are centered around Mr. Stewart having an extra-marital, sexual relationship with Mr. Caldwell."

Stewart is seeking general and special damages for, above all else, impairment to his reputation, or whatever is left of it since people stopped caring about him since 2003.
