Steve Kerr Predicts Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls Will Beat Heat, Stop Three Peat [VIDEO]

TNT analyst Steve Kerr is on record in asserting he doesn't believe LeBron James and Dwyane Wade's Miami Heat will become just the second NBA team in this millennium to record a three peat.

"There's a reason these teams don't do it," Kerr told the L.A. Times. "Emotionally, it's just exhausting to keep doing it year after year, particularly when you have to deal with everything Miami has to deal with on a daily basis, just the constant critiquing and scrutiny on the team."

Kerr instead sees his former Chicago Bulls, the last team other than the 2000-02 Lakers to win back-to-back-to-back titles, overtaking the Heat in the Central Division.

"I just feel like it's all sort of teed up for Chicago with Derrick Rose coming back, guys like Joakim Noah and [Taj] Gibson entering their prime," Kerr told the newspaper. "I think Chicago will have something special this year."

Las Vegas oddsmakers, however still appear enthralled with Miami, with Vegas Hotel & Casino prognosticators installing the Heat as 2-to-1 favorites to win another title this season.

Still, having played with Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan and under Phil Jackson and Greg Popovich, Kerr warns he knows the look of a champion when he sees one.

"You factor in the injuries with Wade and Chris Bosh and their health," he said. "I don't think Miami will get out of the East this year."
