The news that Khloe Kardashian and James Harden are still a couple has been spreading happily across the sports and entertainment spheres.
Happily for everyone except Lamar Odom, that is. That news potentially could kill him.
James Harden 'Speechless' That Khloe Kardashian Called Off Divorce To Lamar Odom.
Despite Kardashian asking that her divorce to her estranged husband be rescinded, she remains committed to the Rockets star for the long haul, according to E! News.
"E! News can confirm the couple is still 100 percent an item," the publication reported, adding that she attended the Rockets' home opener Wednesday night.
"Khloe and James never broke up. He's been so understanding and he knows that Khloe's love for Lamar is deeper than what most people can understand," a source told E! News. "He's been very understanding and supportive. Lamar has a long road ahead of him and Khloe will always have the love she has for Lamar."
Kardashian has spoken out that the decision to halt the divorce is not permanent and that she is not back with Odom.
"There is no rush," Kardashian told People in regards to the divorce. "I'm not trying to get married tomorrow to anybody. It's just bad timing to proceed with that right now. And also for medical reasons it's just smarter that gets on hold for a minute. But that does not mean I'm back with Lamar. That's a whole other thing that only time will tell. I can't tell you what tomorrow brings."
But Odom, who has publicly pined for Kardashian long before he suffered multiple strokes from his stay at a Nevada brothel earlier this month, could be forgiven if he believes this situation reunites them.
Odom is out of the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles, People magazine reported, although the 35-year-old former NBA player remains on dialysis. The question is whether Odom knows that Kardashian is not back with him. It would be great if he knew where he stood and still was recovering.
But it's entirely possible that he doesn't know or refuses to believe that she's not going back to him. Why else would she call of the divorce? Giving Odom hope has to be a huge factor in his recovery?
It's hard to believe Odom would be working so hard to regain his health if he didn't believe Khloe would be his reward.
