Under deadline pressure and backed into a corner, the city of St. Louis swung back at Los Angeles in the fight over the Rams.
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon's stadium task force released a video presentation of highlights of a new riverfront venue for the Rams in St. Louis, The Sporting News reported.

The venue would be named "National Car Rental Field" for the rental-car entity that has agreed to pay $158 million over a 20-year period for naming rights to the stadium, National Sun Times reported, basing the information on an article in the Sports Business Daily.
The 64,000-seat, open-air stadium projected to be on the edge of the Mississippi river, would include a 1,500-seat amphitheater for pregame entertainment, seven acres of tailgating space, a beer garden and the incorporation of trails and a natural habitat surrounding the stadium.

The Rams plan is by far the best of any of the plans among the teams hoping to relocate, including the Chargers and the Raiders, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
St. Louis has $550 million of the $1 billion it needs to build National Car Rental Stadium, the Union-Tribune reported. The city of San Diego has a tentative plan for $350 million to go toward a new stadium, but has not pitched their plan to any legislative body.
"I've said this before and I'll say it again: San Diego is where St. Louis was 10 or 12 months ago," Eric Grubman, the NFL vice president who is managing the relocation process, said Tuesday night to the Union-Tribune.
The NFL is expected to make a decision on relocation by early 2016 at the latest, according to SI.com
