The best way to cash on weekly fantasy football sites is to load up on as many stars with good matchups as possible. Due to budget restraints, however, fantasy players must sacrifice other positions to nab the stars they want.

Best Bargains On FanDuel In Week 9
Quarterbacks
1. Jameis Winston, Buccaneers ($5,200): The G-Men have issues with their pass defense, and Winston’s been figuring things out. He’s gone three weeks without throwing an interception, and it looks like he and WR Mike Evans are on the same page. Add in Austin Seferian-Jenkins likely returning at TE, and suddenly this could be another shootout for Big Blue.
2. Kirk Cousins, Redskins ($5,100): Just know that Cousins in this spot is high-risk, high-reward. New England’s pass defense is not good, but they can be opportunistic. This could easily be a 300-yard, three-score game for Cousins, or he could be picked off three times. The price he’s at makes it worth your while to try him out.
Top Waiver Wire Adds For Week 9
3. Blaine Gabbert, 49ers ($5,000): Gabbert is starting, yet he’s priced the same as a No. 3 QB. Don’t expect him to be very good, but rostering him this week against a vanilla defense like Atlanta’s offers the possibility of okay production with a team stacked everywhere else.
Running Backs
1. DeAngelo Williams, Steelers ($5,500): The starting job is all DeAngelo’s and that’s not a bad thing. He’s no Le’Veon Bell, but Williams was highly productive in the two games Bell missed. He ran for 121 yards vs. the Patriots in Week 1, then piled up 77 yards and three touchdowns the next week. Oakland is not a bad or a good matchup for Williams, who must be started against all but the toughest run defenses.
2. Ronnie Hillman, Broncos ($4,600): Denver’s running game was on point last week when they smacked the Packers, and Hillman was able to score twice. It’s good to see Denver doesn’t adhere to the size over substance mentality many NFL coaches do near the goal line. They recognize Hillman’s talent, and let him get his touches all over the field.
3. Antonio Andrews, Titans ($3,600): Starting running backs rarely go this cheap. Andrews is not especially talented, but he has the lion’s share of the work in Tennessee, which should put up more points when Marcus Mariota’s back at QB. Andrews is the choice for goal-line carries as well.
Wide Receivers
1. Sammy Watkins, Bills ($5,000): Keep an eye on Watkins’ status since he’s questionable, but if he plays, he’ll produce. Miami was exposed by New England; they aren’t as strong as they looked in Dan Campbell’s first two games as coach. They just beat up on bad clubs. The Dolphins have had a hard time with No. 1 receivers, and Watkins is as good as anyone in terms of talent when he’s healthy.
2. Rueben Randle, Giants ($4,100): Randle didn’t score in Eli Manning’s six-touchdown outburst, so he needs some love this week against another atrocious pass defense. Randle is maddening; his talent screams WR1 but he’s just never put it together. Still, he flashes is in some games, and after three TDs by Odell Beckham Jr. last week, the Bucs will be zeroed in on ODB.
3. Ted Ginn, Panthers ($3,500): Yes, I know he only caught two of 10 targets on Monday Night. Focus on the targets! Ginn is not a pure wide receiver, or even a particularly good one. He’s a playmaker. He turned two grabs into 60 yards. If he keeps being given opportunities, he will often reward you with huge plays. At this price, it’s really a no-brainer.
Tight Ends
1. Gary Barnidge, Browns ($4,800): Six touchdowns in six weeks. At least one touchdown in five of his last six games. Play Gary Barnidge.
2. Antonio Gates, Chargers ($4,700): Gates was buried in the passing game last week, but that won’t last. He saw 11 and 16 targets in his first two games back from suspension, and with another week to get healthier, he should be back to hogging looks vs. the Bears’ mediocre defense.
3. Delanie Walker, Titans ($4,200): The Titans haven’t scored more than 13 points in their last four games, but that should change vs. New Orleans’ porous defense, even if Marcus Mariota misses another week. The Saints rank dead-last in the NFL vs. tight ends, and Walker is probably the Titans’ best option in the passing game right now besides Kendall Wright.
