Nikki Bella WWE Injury Rumors: Divas Who Can Step Up In Former Champion's Absence [VIDEO]

Nikki Bella is dealing with a neck injury that is slated to sideline her for an unspecified amount of time. While injuries are nothing to take lightly, her absence creates a void in the Divas division that could be filled by some of the other ladies in wrestling.

Bella has been dominating the division in 2015 and was booked as the longest-reigning Divas Champion in history by staying on top for 301 days. Charlotte ended the run and won the subsequent rematch between the two, and now she's focused on battling Paige at Survivor Series later this month.

While those two ladies have top billing, other Divas have a chance to step it up in the absence of Bella. Here are five ladies who may be able to take advantage of Bella's absence by getting prominent storylines during the Divas Revolution.

1) Sasha Banks

"The Boss" absolutely killed it in NXT, as evidenced by her two Match of the Year candidates against Bayley over the last couple of months, but thus far she's been lost in the shuffle on the main roster. The WWE may be taking its time in grooming Banks, but she deserves to be one of the marquee names in the division. It's high time that WWE creative took advantage of Banks' look, in-ring ability and strong character by thrusting her into the division.

2) Brie Bella

The other Bella twin has been playing second-fiddle to her sister as of late, especially during the 301-day reign of Nikki. Brie has been lost in the shadow of her sibling for a long time now, but Nikki's absence could be just the opportunity she needs to break out.

3) Becky Lynch

The Lass Kicker has proven in NXT that she has the goods to deliver quality matches, but much like Banks she hasn't been given the proper platform to strut her stuff on the WWE's main roster. Lynch is a great asset to the company and can cut a promo and back it up in the ring. Now, perhaps with Bella gone, the WWE will rely on her more.

4) Alicia Fox

Foxy was a random addition to the Team Bella stable, but ironically enough, her captain falling could do wonders for her. Fox has been sort of the forgotten member of the Bella trio, but the WWE may shake things up now that the triad has become a twosome, and it may pay dividends for the Diva.

5) Natalya

The "Queen of Harts" finally got back into the swing of things recently when it had previously appeared as though the Divas Revolution was going to pass her by. She's already getting into it with Paige, which will likely lead to a match between them down the line. It seems there are big plans for Natalya and with one less Diva in the mix, they could come to fruition sooner rather than later.
