Dustin Johnson didn’t tank at the HSBC Champions in Shanghai, but he experienced some misfortune that is hard to believe. Johnson hit a beauty on the par-5 eighth hole which banged off the flagstick and careened into the water. Johnson double-bogeyed the hole.

Johnson was probably down, which was why Paulina Gretzky rescued his spirits. She wasn’t in Shangai with him, but she definitely made him wish he was home.

It appears Paulina’s not too broken up about recent rumors Johnson was stepping out on here with an old flame. Last month Johnson was spotted in a supermarket with model Allie MacKenzie, the ex-wife of PGA Tour member Will MacKenzie. A witness said the Johnson had his arm around her, and “they looked super flirty,” and as if a kiss was coming. Johnson has a 10-month old son with Gretzky, and MacKenzie quickly denied anything improper was happening.
"I ran into an old friend buying baby food for his son at Publix," she said. "I wish Paulina, Tatum and Dustin the very best start in their lives together,” MacKenzie said.
Hopefully she is on the up-and-up, because Johnson would be pretty foolish to mess around behind Gretzky’s back.
