Charles Barkley Puts Foot in Mouth Again; Says Greg Hardy Deserves Second Chance

Charles Barkley is known these days less for his play on the court, than for his big mouth off it.

Barkley is use to saying controversial things in the past that has offended a lot of people and this case is no exception.

For some reason, the former NBA player and commentator felt the need to speak out on Greg Hardy of the Cowboys who was suspended by the NFL for domestic abuse charges.

Many feel as if Hardy has shown little to no remorse for the incident and tried to apologize for the incident on Twitter which prompted Barkley's response in a letter:

"I need to get this off my chest.

"I don't know Greg Hardy. I'm not sure I like Greg Hardy. And I'm damned sure I know I don't want Greg Hardy dating my daughter. Let me be clear: Domestic violence is 100 percent wrong. In this case, Hardy went through the judicial system. We need to find a way to stop giving up on black men. We need to get Hardy psychological help, similar to how Brandon Marshall faced up to his particular issues.

The website Deadspin post pics of Hardy's ex girlfriend who had several bruises on her which prompted a lot of outrage from fans across the league.

To Barkley's credit, although he says Hardy needs help, according to USA Today, Barkley is quoted as saying, "If Greg Hardy screws up again, I'll help him pack his ass out of Dallas."
