WWE 'Survivor Series' 2015 Rumors: Dean Ambrose Would Make Better Champion Than Roman Reigns [VIDEO]

The inevitable has almost come to fruition as Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are one win away from meeting in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament finals at Survivor Series.

The mega push of Reigns appears to be on and the WWE is likely to crown him with his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series. Maybe they shouldn't overlook his former Shield stablemate so quickly.

After Defeat, Ronda Rousey Should Consider Life As WWE Diva

It appeared as though Reigns was earmarked for the gold heading into WrestleMania 31, but his former friend and Hounds of Justice teammate Seth Rollins won instead. With Reigns once again seemingly poised to win the richest prize in the game Sunday in Atlanta, it's time for the WWE to reconsider its options.

Reigns is set to take on Alberto Del Rio in the semifinals Sunday, while Ambrose will do battle with reigning Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens. As has been predicted since the beginning of the tournament, it appears as though the WWE is heading toward a finals meeting between Ambrose and Reigns.

Possible Swerves At WWE Survivor Series

The leader of the Roman Empire has made great strides with his in-ring work, but even against Cesaro on Monday night he appeared to be out of the league of the "Swiss Superman." Ambrose had a great match with Dolph Ziggler, and showed amazing psychology throughout before cutting a maniacal promo afterward.

Ambrose as champion would be interesting, not only because he's good at what he does, but he brings an unpredictable element that could certainly shakeup the WWE. Reigns went through Big Show in Round 1, which was warranted, but toppling Cesaro in the quarterfinals after clearly being out-worked by him was a bit much.

The "Lunatic Fringe" could very well turn heel and beat Reigns should they meet in the finals, but it appears the WWE is hell-bent on making Reigns "the man" come Survivor Series.

While that may be the case, Ambrose is more deserving of carrying the WWE's richest prize when the Thanksgiving Classic comes to an end.
