Ronda Rousey worked herself up over Holly Holm during the weigh-in before their UFC 193 fight, but the ex-champion has to be downright furious with the new face of the MMA women's game over her latest comments.
Holm had the audacity to tell Rousey's detractors to lay off the champion in a skype interview with TMZ Sports.

When told that celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Donald Trump and Laila Ali were bashing Rousey as overrated in the wake of her shocking defeat Saturday night in Australia, Holm said "I don't want any of that to happen."
Naturally, Holm might've said that because any attempts to label Rousey as overrated would discredit Holm's accomplishments. However, Holm did not give any indication that she was worried about her own reputation.

"Ronda's been a very dominant champ, and she's taken it to new levels," Holm said. "And this fight wouldn't have happened if she didn't accomplish what she accomplished. I have a lot of respect for her.
"Don't get me wrong; I don't want to give up any bit of my victory. I'll take the win, and I'll take that I did it dominantly. But that doesn't mean I wish any harm on her. That doesn't mean that I wish any hate on her. I think people can be pretty brutal, and when you're in the spot she's in, there are people that are just going to jump ship and I don't ever wish for that."
The new champion had every reason to gloat after the two had a heated exchange at the weigh-in when Rousey felt that Holm intentionally put her fist too close to Rousey's face during the weigh-in.
Rousey told Holm, "That fake sweet act, I see right through it. I really do. It's all fake. All until now, all that respect, all you being sweet, I see right now that it's fake and you're going to get it on Sunday. ... I'm going to show you on Sunday why I'm the champ."
Rousey even followed that with a slightly more foul-mouthed version of her pre-fight rant on an Instagram post (which is still up).

So listening to Holm continue to speak with class and defend Rousey has to be killing the former champ, either because she doesn't believe it, or she does believe it and can't build up any actual hatred for her conqueror so she has to manufacture it like she did at the weigh-in.
Rousey still has not said anything complimentary about Holm, and that's making her look worse by the day.
