WWE 'Survivor Series' 2015 Rumors: Predicting Participants In 5-on-5 Traditional Match [VIDEO]

The booking for this year's 29th annual Survivor Series has been awful. Seth Rollins' injury helped contribute to it, but still, it's just inexcusable how lackluster the build to an alleged "Big Four" event has been.

Never is the terrible creative direction more evident than in the thrown together five-on-five traditional Survivor Series match. Just how awful is the build for this one? Three days before the pay-per-view, the WWE still has no clue who is going to be in it.

Ranking The Undertaker's Past Survivor Series Teams

Well, if they don't want to bother attaching a storyline to it or even revealing who is going to participate in a fan-favorite match stipulation that just last year had the high stakes of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's jobs on the line, we'll do it for them.

Here are the possible candidates for each squad.

WWE Creative Team Dropping Ball With Survivor Series

Babyface Team

The face team seems to have a lot of options, so it's tough to tell what the WWE will do. Neville and Cesaro both lost their respective quarterfinal matches in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament and since the WWE seems to have no other plans for them (what else is new for Cesaro?), they seem to be earmarked for this matchup.

With those two down, some combination of The Dudley Boyz, The Usos and Ryback could very well out the team. It's hard to see where the WWE is going with this match as The Dudley Boyz teamed with Neville in six-man tag action on SmackDown, while The Usos and Ryback joined forces on RAW, so it will be interesting to see which direction the company goes in.

Heel Team

Just like their counterparts, the villain unit has many options. In a real head-scratcher, The New Day was held out of the WWE Championship tournament, but there's no way the WWE can keep the entertaining trio sidelined for this event. It's possible that the WWE can open a slot by having Xavier Woods serve as outside entertainment during the bout.

Sheamus, who is Mr. Money in the Bank, curiously has nothing going on and could be used in this match while the likes of The Miz, Stardust and The Ascension are also in play. The New Day battled Ryback and The Usos on RAW, while Stardust and The Ascension took on the Dudleyz and Neville at the SmackDown tapings, so there is some murkiness to the proceedings.

The Match

After weighing all the options, this looks to be the most logical traditional bout for Sunday
