The stress of being in a love triangle may be getting to Khloe Kardashian.
As she cares for her husband Lamar Odom and continues to date Rockets star James Harden, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's health is beginning to deteriorate. Kardashian is dealing with a staph infection, which caused her to reschedule a signing appearance for her book, "Strong Looks Better Naked."
Khloe's Remarks About Lamar Are Baffling
Everyone knows how much the Kardashians crave the spotlight, so for Khloe to cancel, her health must be very bad.
Kardashian's situation has Kris Jenner and the rest of the family very concerned, according to TMZ. Jenner's step-father, Harry Shannon, passed away after contracting a staph infection following a car wreck in 2003. When Kardashian was diagnosed with the same ailment, it reportedly made Jenner flip out.
Khloe Kardashian Lashes Out At Fan
The illness is so bad that doctors also told Kim Kardashian, who is eight months pregnant, not to visit her sister. Though most of the family is in a tailspin, Kourtney Kardashian gave a positive update on her sister's condition.
"She's good," Kourtney told E! News. "She's OK. She's not feeling well, but she's OK."
Another source told the site that Khloe has swollen glands, a fever and fatigue, but she hasn't been diagnosed yet, while a different source described the infection as "minor."
It's likely Khloe's whirlwind of a personal life is starting to break her down. The reality star has been in a relationship with Harden since June and was ready to divorce Odom, but his health scare changed everything. After Odom's drug use at a Nevada brothel in October put him in a coma and nearly took his life, Khloe opted to halt the divorce.
The reality star still loves Odom, but the divorce was paused only so that she could help him with his medical bills on his long road to recovery. Khloe has stressed that the divorce will eventually go forward, but for now she's tending to the former NBA star and even joked that she's part of a "polygamy."
Harden has remained in a relationship with Khloe throughout this saga, but it likely has tested both of their wills. While Odom's health continues to improve, Khloe's is starting to take a turn for the worse.
The drama of the polygamy may be getting to Khloe.
